I joined NBC Television in L.A. in 1985, and during my eighteen years of being a weatherman, I am proud to say that every show I was on became number one in the ratings.

In 1988 I was awarded an inspiring honor. California State Assembly Minority Leader Patrick Nolan of the 41st District presented a resolution to me on the floor of the State Assembly. This Award acknowledged my free school program called "Let's Talk Weather."  I designed this program to show students how much fun science can be.

Throughout the years, I developed several other programs, the most successful being "Let's Read 4 Life".
In the recent years, I have turned my attention to writing children's books. After meeting my childhood hero Muhammad Ali in 1994, I was inspired to follow my own childhood dream of being a children's book author. I shared the idea with Mr. Ali and he agreed to write the forward to my first book (inspired by Muhammad Ali himself); since then, I have nine books to my credit.
